It is natural for our House to associate colour with the spirit of vacation and discovery. Meandering along the seashore or exploring unknown lands, in search of new horizons, but also looking for expressions of local colour and culture, the Moynat adventure is about the pleasure of travel that can be undertaken alone, as a couple or in a group.
The first step in the itinerary is India. Ramesh Nair, the artistic director of the house of Moynat chose to incarnate this special connection between Moynat and colour by evoking India, the land of colour. Where, in the month of March, “Holi”, the festival of colours, ushers in the spring equinox. Dressed all in white, people throw coloured powders and drench each other with coloured water, each colour carrying its own significance.
Since the dawn of time, says Ramesh, people have come to India looking for colour. Colour, for Ramesh, is the expression of spirituality and joy, and India is the absolute source of it.
