I swear, ever since I gained the courage to tell my family about my anxiety and depression and suicidal thoughts, its like they've treated me worse, and have been shunning me. My sister didnt invite me to my nephews birthday party, everyone in my family has been saying the most awful things to me about how worthless I am, they keep talking about how I need to be kicked out and put on the streets so maybe then I'll "learn my lesson"
Because being homeless will really make me "learn" how not to have serious mental disorders.
It doesn't make any sense to me. It seems like the EXACT opposite of how they should be reacting to this. I mean, it's not like they ever treated me amazing, but you'd think they'd have the common sense and not be so insensitive as to treat me like this knowing what is going on in my head.
Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced something like this?
