Hi, I have been on Paxil 30mg for the past 15 years and have just recently (since Jan. 21,2013) changed over to 10 mg. of Cipralex.
My Doctor changed me over to Cipralex, because I was having trouble with stress at work. I have been dealing with a lot of stupidity from people at work, i.e. work harassment for just over a year now, and was at the point of not being able to sleep due to high anxiety (my mind kept going over and all the scenarios I was having to deal with at work, got to the point I did not want to go into work anymore, but I could not afford to just quit)
My Doctor switched my meds from 30mg of Paxil to 10mg of Cipralex and I was told to take a month off work.
I took the month off and changed my medication as suggested.
I was wondering how long to expect the withdraw symptoms.
I have been experiencing a lot tiredness and aching joints within my Back and especially in my feet, finding it hard to walk at times. I am also getting a woozy feeling along with some shaking sensations.
I had also mentioned to my Doctor that since I was on the Paxil I put on a lot of weight over the years.
Has anyone experienced these symptoms and if so how long did it take you to transform from one drug to the other. :um
