I am looking for youtube-located documentaries about artists. Mostly writers, but i do not mind if they are painters too (no musicians though).

I found this one on H.P.Lovecraft, which i really liked, it is not that high-brow but has some humor and makes a pleasant presentation of HP Lovecraft's work:

I do not think i am. I am hurt, and then i do not really attribute an equal measure of being hurt to others who seem to harm me. I am quick to judge, although i realize my view is just objective. I do not really forgive anyone, and sometimes recall with malice how others treated me. And although i suspect that i would be better-off by changing all those things, i still feel that i would end up with a wound far more easy to see, for it is the disgust of others that seems to partly cover it up now.

They make me sad. I guess because i reason that they still have opportunities, a future, or at the very least they have hope.

Being 33 means i am in the world of adults, at least in theory.

I recall looking at adults when i was still a child, thinking that they are gray, downtrodden, lost beings. Of course this was mostly my own view, but in the end it was reserved for me, for what i have become.

Of course this is an idealized view of children, i am aware of that. In reality they have their own, often very serious, problems. I do not envy them in that. It is just that, as some line from a poem goes, "I, a strange child, made old".
