Mine certainly were. Growing up, they never pushed me to do anything or succeed. They never got too invested in my life or taught me anything useful. My mom practically admitted to me that she assumed I would figure things out for myself. I'd come home with terrible grades and they didn't care. They are still like this today. They don't care what I do or where I go. They wonder why I'm so distant from them, yet they can't admit that it's probably because they pushed me away. It's probably the reason why I'm so withdrawn too.

Are anybody else's parents like this?

I loved this show as a kid and just remembered it. It was short, but it had an interesting plot.

Here is the opening.

I was considering getting one of those cheapy 4 GB Xbox's when it went on sale for a cheap price. If I remember, around the holidays they were selling them for around $99. The thing is that there are very, and I mean very, few games on Xbox that actually interest me. Most of them are already available for PS3, which I already have. That means that it's the exclusives that would make me consider purchasing one, and I can't think of much besides Lost Odyssey, which doesn't really look as good to me as some people have been saying it is. I could just watch a playthrough of it.

There's only two games I can think of that would make me purchase one: Mass Effect and Bayonetta. Bayonetta is already available on PS3, but the game was ported terribly, but I may consider getting it for the system anyways just to see if I can deal with the performance issues. They probably aren't as horrible as some make them out to be. But then there is talk about the game showing up on Wii U considering the sequel is exclusive to it, so I don't really know.

As for Mass Effect, the only thing fueling my interest was the first game, which was exclusive, but now it's available on PS3. And honestly, I have looked at the complete list of Xbox games and there really isn't anything that interests me. I have tried watching various bits of gameplay footage, but I just don't see a point.

Whatever. I'm sure nobody is going to read this. I'm no console fanboy, but I only have so much money to spend and I'd rather not have to buy a system if I don't have to.
