I have applied for disability. I would only be getting a small amount, less than $1000 dollars. I live with family now, but I if I got approved for disability, I would want to move out into my own apartment, because the situation I live in right now is miserable.
Since I would only be getting a small amount of money, not enough to move out on my own with, would there be any way that the government would pay more if I wanted to move out into my own apartment? And would it have to be government housing, or could I just get a regular apartment?
