I'm almost 24 and been look down severly by my family.
I'd like to say my mother passed away when I was 21 and I overcame delayed speech.
Now, I've always been focused on studies. I got high grades in college and went into a Ivy-Leauge equivilent/top university in the UK at 21. I did fail a year and dropped out.
Now, my younger sister has a job at McDonalds, she has passed her marketing degree before me.
Now, at 23, I'm looking to study a Mathematics degree at 24 and graduate at 27. I'm also learning several languages, I can cook, I'm reading about art, I've won sports awards. I'm also going to freelance web design for this summer and run other business's.
THE PROBLEM is, because my younger sister has graduated before me in the easiet way possible (she had only 1 exams, wereas I had 10 exams at my previous uni) they are comparing saying "why can't you be like your sister?. They also say "why don't you go out on holidays like your sister?" Why can't they look at me playing sports everyweek?
My aunty said I had no friends because I'm a bit shy in front of my own family and she even once cut me out on the camera!. They honestly look down on me severly, telling me what to do, I don't need to go the gym, get into a top uni x,y,z. It unreal! They never talk about me anyway.
My sister gets quite angry at me for no reason, and she is VERY IGNORANT, like my other family members. She's even spoke to me in an angry manner in front of people. At uni, I did not bother looking for work, because I had 10 exams to face. She called me "very lazy" too. He studied a easy degree with only 1 exam which she could relax for 7 months and then safely revise for the last 3 weeks.
I'm very intelligent, creative and dynamic. As stated, they all look down on me and have a low opinion of me. Even though I've been to uni, going to study a mathematics degree, play well at sports, going to run 5-6 internet business's in the 2 years, I can cook, I can read about art, I'm learning languages.
What do you guys suggest and advise me? They don't see my achievements or potential, possibilities.
