It Could Be Much Worse Actually

Often we tend to not look past our own life and problems. But just remember if you lived in the middle ages, 17th century, Roman age, a time before Freud, Jung and further development and major psychological discoveries and understand... Times when people with mental problems were called lunatics and were mere circus acts, had to beg on the streets, locked up in mental wards or would be slaves. And even today in countries with poverty, slavery, human rights violations, woman oppression, no freedom, dictatorship or communism, no possibilites to grow...

At least today we have things to entertain us/distractions like videogames, music, work, technological advancement, way better understanding about mental problems, therapists to talk to, better education, health care and social wealthfare... But we often waste our opportunities to use our possibilities and to develop ourselves.

Can you sometimes look past your own difficulties and be thankful for the things you have? :)
