That is the face of a man just caught buying 36 bottles of Jagermeister on a stolen credit card.
No really.
The oh-silly-you-you-caught-me look works here, but Jozo Gaspar did lose his job coaching in Croatia as a result, considering he took the plastic from the wallet of one of his own players. Fairly sure that makes him the worst coach in the world, though Chelsea fans will probably disagree.
Josip Gašpar played 420 times for the country’s most popular club – Dinamo Zagreb – and was sacked over Easter from his job as coach of Prečko – a team in Zagreb’s first division.
At the time it was unclear why he had lost his job, but now according to reports in the Croatian media, it is alleged he stole a wallet from one of his players while it was in the dressing room.
He is then is said to have gone to a shop in Zagreb City centre and spent £447 on 36 one-litre bottles of Jagermeister, using a credit card he found in the wallet.
There is probably a trip to rehab in this man’s future. And if he were a celebrity most places in the world, he’d be celebrated twice as greatly upon leaving rehab whilst the player would be chastised for enabling his addiction by holding the credit card in the first place.
Or maybe he should just attempt to forget about the whole thing by downing some Jager. That works too.
