Weightlifting anxiety

So I've been doing some weightlifting lately but I can't get into a routine with it because I'll only do it if the weight area is empty. So I end up going at weird times that are inconvenient for me. My anxiety kicks in if people are around, especially really fit guys that obviously do this a lot. One time, I was alone for about ten minutes and then this guy came over and I got so pissed and angry that I started to cry and had to leave. Real smooth. :no



I guess I am asking for advice from the guys here that weight lift...if girls (especially not fit ones) are around what are you usually thinking? Is it annoying, or are you kinda whatever about it??



I'd just feel better if I knew the truth, instead of what is in my head. Even if it is the same thing.
