i'm a young guy in his twenties, but i enjoy listening to vinyl records. i have a cheap turntable right now, but i'm planning on getting a vintage one from the 70's next month.
anybody else on this site think playing music from a record just seems better and a fuller experience? i mean what ever happened to hearing a full album? being able to look at the art cover and play from beginning to end. flipping the record from a side to b, and best of all slowly dropping that needle onto the groove. people have said vinyl sounds better then digital music, but i don't know that just yet cause the turntable i have is really cheap right now and it kinda plays the music staticy. i'm hoping that when i get a vintage professional turntable with the counterweight and anti skate (which my current cheap one doesn't have) it will sound better. anyways i was wondering what you guys thought of playing records, anybody young and into it like me?
