And not just because his celebrity wife embarrassed them both with her OWN alcohol-fueled police officer rant!
Jim Toth and Reese Witherspoon are experiencing one MASSIVE hangover (figuratively and most likely literally) after getting arrested early Friday morning...
And even though Reese has already issued a public apology for her INSANE drunk behavior, it seems her hubby is feeling pretty shame-faced for involving her in his boozy antics in the first place.
One alleged insider reveals:
"[Toth] feels awful that he involved Reese in the situation. He made a bad decision and it certainly made things worse that he dragged her into it.
Jim has always been a big social drinker. A lot of his job is being social. He's out to lunch or dinner almost every day of the week, schmoozing clients and taking business meetings.
[The arrest is] just going to make the two of them stop and pause, and think about maybe how much Jim's drinking plays a role in their lives – if it does or not."
Oof!
Toth IS a bigwig CAA Agent after all, and those jobs are notorious for using various fermented fluids as tools for manipulating courting clients...
But perhaps dude needs to take a serious look at this relationship with the juice-that-makes-ya-loose!
But it's not like he was the ONLY drunk person in that vehicle! Perhaps a weekend of couples therapy rehab is in order!
