I am very frustrated due to my horrible eyesight. I have -3.00 myopia with -1 astigmatism. Without glasses I am nearly a blind person.
I was hoping that lasik treatment would be an option for me to get my normal eyesight back but after searching for lasik information I found out that its a very harmful procedure which may damage your cornea and you can develop corneal bulging disease many years after lasik surgery . I am now very scared and have no courage to opt for the surgery.
This eyesight problem is one big reason for my low self esteem. I have social phobia since childhood and my bad eyesight has inceased it to extreme level. I always feel very uncomfortable in glasses.
Is there anyone who very frustrated due to blinding myopia?
