Obsessive Thoughts

Does anyone else suffer from obsessive thoughts? I've been struggling with this thought for about 2 years and I don't know what I can do to make it go away. It makes me think negatively about a lot of things and I am unable to do a lot of things I use to be able to do. How do you overcome OCD thoughts. I think it might of been triggered by a traumatic event, because it happened a few weeks after it.



What ways do people cope with OCD thoughts that mess with their social life?



Some example are thoughts like "I don't know what to say" or "I won't be able to do this right" and instead of just forgetting about them they stay in your head.
