Prince Harry is making his way to the States. And we’re dying to know EXACTLY what he’ll be doing. Lucky for us, we’re now privy to his trip itinerary!
The ginger royal begins his tour today in Washington D.C. where he’ll be visiting a HALO Trust exhibition at Capitol Hill. He will then head to British Ambassador Sir Peter Westmacott’s for dinner, where he will give a speech.
Tomorrow, the prince will start his day with a trip to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and a tour of the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center before heading to Denver, CO for a reception with consul-general to Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming, Beverley Simpson. A few Olympic gold medalists will be joining the reception also.
Harry will then spend his weekend at the 2013 Warrior Games, along with the participating British athletes, followed by Sunday’s cycling match at the U.S. Air Force Academy.
He’ll end his trip on the East Coast, flying out to New Jersey and New York to see the destruction of Hurricane Sandy with Governor Chris Christie. This will be followed by an event in Manhattan in support of the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry’s youth charity efforts, and a dinner reception with the American Friends of the Royal Foundation.
And finally, Harry will head to Greenwich, Connecticut to take part in Wednesday’s Sentebale Polo Cup before leaving for England.
Wow! Sounds like he’ll be keeping busy!
