Ok this has been messing with my head for over three months now since I moved into a place where 4 of us share one bathroom.
We didnt know each other before we all became roommates.
I get extreme anxiety when I want to take a shower knowing that the others
may need it because they have jobs, social life, etc.
Also get anxiety when I want to do laundry, they might need to, vacuum, they might be sleeping, anything.
WANTED to move into a studio by myself but simply can't due to credit issues.
How do I deal with this sharing thing?
I know this is past programming on my part. But they seem genuinely nice people here. Of course, I never know what they are "thinking" and I am always on my guard to be screamed at for daring to utilize something in the house for a minute when they need it NOW!
I pay my share equally for the rent/utilities, but can't shake the feeling
they look down on me for being unemployed/disabled.
Even though, they do not make any indication that they think that way!
Do tread scars ever really fade away?
