Think about the money we have to waste on car repairs because of this curse. Way more than the average person. Most people know a good mechanic who will get them the best deal.
I on the other hand, get ripped off every time I take my car to get anything done on it other than maybe tires or an oil change. Brakes or anything else cost me a lot of money every time. I know nobody and just have to let some chain grease monkeys rip me off.
They see me walk in and they see dollar signs. What am I going to do? Today I stood there and acted like my mother died when they told me how much it was going to cost, but in the end agreed to pay it.
I don't have time to comparison shop. I don't know anybody. Don't know much about cars. Got taken to the cleaners again like always. Wouldn't happen if I was normal.
